PRODUCT INTRODUCTION
Our Water-based Solvent-free Release Agent is an environmentally friendly mold release additive designed to provide efficient separation between molds and molded materials without using organic solvents. It forms a thin, uniform release film on the mold surface, preventing adhesion while maintaining good surface finish and dimensional accuracy of the finished product.
This product is widely used in rubber and tire manufacturing, polyurethane foam production, composite material molding, concrete precast processing, metal casting and plastic processing. Compared with solvent-based release agents, the water-based solvent-free formula reduces VOC emissions, improves workplace safety and is more suitable for modern clean production requirements.
The Water-based Solvent-free Release Agent shows excellent thermal stability, film-forming ability and compatibility with different mold surfaces, including steel, cast iron, aluminum and composite molds. It can be applied by spraying, brushing or dipping, and leaves no harmful residue that affects subsequent bonding, painting or surface treatment.
Every batch is tested for solid content, viscosity, pH value, release performance and thermal stability before shipment. We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS(MSDS) for quality traceability and customs compliance. ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Confirm Application and Process Target
Please inform us of your mold material, molded product type, processing temperature, required surface quality and export destination country regulations. We will recommend the most suitable Water-based Solvent-free Release Agent grade.
2. Trial Sample and Testing
We can provide trial samples for laboratory evaluation. Customers may test release performance, film uniformity, thermal stability and final surface quality. Simplified SDS and sample COA will be supplied with samples.
3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms
Available in 25 kg drum, 200 L drum and IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement are available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, CAS No. 9003-01-4 (reference), non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS(MSDS).

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Poor Mold Release and Adhesion
Incomplete release or sticking occurs due to insufficient dosage, dirty mold or wrong grade.
Solution: Clean the mold, increase dosage properly and select the correct Water-based Solvent-free Release Agent grade for your process.
Surface Defects and Residue
Excessive release agent may cause residue, spots or poor paintability on the finished product.
Solution: Reduce application amount, ensure uniform coating and optimize drying time before loading material.
Uneven Release Effect
Some areas release well while others stick, usually caused by uneven spraying or dirty mold surface.
Solution: Improve spraying uniformity, maintain clean mold surface and establish a standardized release procedure.
Thermal Degradation at High Temperature
The release agent may decompose or lose efficiency when processing temperature is too high.
Solution: Switch to a higher temperature-resistant grade such as WR-500 and verify performance under actual process conditions.
Foam Surface Pinholes or Defects
In polyurethane foam production, unstable release agent may cause surface defects or cell structure problems.
Solution: Use WR-200 foam grade, control dosage and check compatibility with your polyol system.
Concrete Surface Sticking and Damage
Poor release may cause surface damage or tearing when demolding precast concrete.
Solution: Use WR-400 concrete grade, ensure sufficient drying and apply evenly on the steel mold.
