PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Chelating Agent is a high-performance industrial auxiliary designed to form stable complexes with metal ions such as calcium, magnesium, iron, copper and other heavy metals. It helps prevent scale formation, metal precipitation, oxidation and catalytic decomposition in industrial systems.

This product is widely used in water treatment, industrial cleaning, detergents, textile processing, papermaking, agricultural micronutrients and chemical synthesis. It provides strong chelating power, water solubility, broad pH tolerance, good stability and easy use.

Our chelating agent is produced under strict process control. It is available in different grades according to chelating capacity, pH range, solubility, metal ion affinity and application system. Each batch is inspected for appearance, purity, chelating value, pH value, solubility and stability before shipment.

We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your system requirement, water quality condition and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Confirm System Requirement and Water Quality Condition Please inform us of your application field, target metal ions, water quality condition, pH range, required chelating capacity and processing condition. We will recommend the most suitable chelating agent grade.
2. Trial Sample and Laboratory Evaluation We can provide trial samples for chelating test, stability test, scale inhibition test and compatibility evaluation. Customers may test chelating capacity, metal complex stability, system stability and final product performance. Sample COA and SDS will be attached.
3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms Standard packing: 25kg bag / drum / carton, IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS.
4. Delivery and After-sales Technical Support Each batch is supplied with COA, TDS and SDS. Our technical team supports grade selection, dosage adjustment, formulation optimization and on-site guidance, and assists with import declaration information for destination ports.
Trial Order Tip:
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify chelating agent performance in your actual system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 0.05% to 1.5%. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to test result and production condition.
Adding Method:
Add chelating agent into water or industrial system according to formulation requirement. Ensure uniform dissolution and good mixing.
Compatibility Check:
Before mass production, test compatibility with metal ions, auxiliary agents, additives and processing condition. Observe chelating capacity, stability and system performance.
Process Condition Consideration:
Adjust grade and dosage according to target metal ions, pH range, temperature, water quality and application requirement. Control adding sequence and solution concentration properly.
Storage & Sea Freight Guidance:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture and high temperature. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Safety Operation:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Insufficient Chelating Capacity Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage or wrong pH causes poor metal ion control. Solution: Select suitable grade, increase dosage and control pH properly.
Metal Precipitation or Scale Formation Low chelating capacity, high metal ion concentration or wrong pH causes precipitation. Solution: Increase chelating agent dosage, improve pH control and add scale inhibitor.
Poor Stability in System Unsuitable grade, incompatible additive or high temperature causes instability. Solution: Test compatibility before production, select stable grade and control temperature.
Foam Problem Unsuitable grade, high surfactant or high agitation causes foam generation. Solution: Use low foam grade, add anti-foam agent and reduce agitation.
Color Change in System Unsuitable grade, metal ion interference or wrong pH causes color change. Solution: Select suitable grade, improve metal ion control and adjust pH.
Poor Compatibility with Additives Wrong grade or incompatible additive causes precipitation or turbidity. Solution: Test compatibility before mass production and select matching grade.
Customs Detention Due to Mismatched Documents Incorrect HS code or SDS information triggers inspection and detention at destination ports. Solution: Confirm destination country regulations before order. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. We supply consistent full-set SDS / COA documents.
High COD Load in Wastewater High organic content or excessive dosage increases wastewater treatment load. Solution: Optimize dosage, use concentrated grade and cooperate with wastewater treatment.
