PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Our Compound Auxiliary Package for Water-based Ink is a customized system of carefully balanced additives, developed by our professional R&D team according to each customer’s ink formulation, substrate, printing machine and target performance. Instead of a single universal additive, it combines wetting, dispersing, defoaming, levelling, rheology and film-forming components into one optimized package, so the customer can simplify raw material purchasing, shorten batching time and keep consistent print quality.

The customization process starts with a detailed analysis of your formula and requirements: pigment type, resin system, viscosity target, drying speed, adhesion substrate, gloss level and application method. Our technical team then selects and blends the right additives, adjusts the ratio and verifies the package in actual printing trials before delivery. Every package is made to order and documented with a specific formulation code for repeatable production.

Typical benefits include improved pigment wetting and dispersion stability, reduced foam and pinholes, more uniform ink transfer, higher color strength and gloss, stable rheology during high-speed circulation, and stronger adhesion on film, paper and foil substrates. Customers can receive a complete package with clear dosing instructions, so no separate additive adjustment is needed at the workshop.

This product is designed for flexographic, gravure and digital water-based inks, as well as overprint varnishes and water-based coatings used in packaging printing. All components are selected with environmental compliance in mind, supporting low-VOC and food-contact requirements where applicable.

Quality control covers every delivered lot, with COA, TDS and MSDS supplied. Our team provides continuous after-sales support, including formula re-tuning when raw materials or printing conditions change. With years of experience in water-based ink auxiliaries, we help customers move from trial to stable mass production faster and more reliably.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Submit Formula Information Please provide your ink type, resin system, pigment type, substrate, printing machine, target viscosity, gloss and any special requirement such as food contact or low VOC. This helps our R&D team design the right package.
2. Trial Formulation Development Our technical team prepares a trial package and verifies it in printing trials. Dosage, compatibility and performance are confirmed before mass production.
3. Confirm Packaging and Quantity Standard packaging includes 25 kg drums, 200 L drums and IBC tanks. Custom labels, dosing instructions and formulation code are provided for each order.
4. Delivery and After-sales Support We confirm lead time and shipping documents. After delivery, our team provides continuous technical support and formula re-tuning when your raw materials or printing conditions change.
Trial Order Tip:
A small trial batch is recommended first to verify the package performance in your real production line before bulk ordering. Trial formulation is free of charge for qualified projects.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
Follow the dosing instruction provided with each package. Typical dosage is 0.5–5% based on total ink weight. Start from the recommended level and adjust only after trial printing.
Adding Method:
Add the package slowly under moderate stirring during the let-down stage. Avoid adding together with high-concentration acid or alkali. Mix thoroughly until uniform.
Compatibility Pre-test:
Before mass production, run a small compatibility test with your resin and pigment system to confirm viscosity, foam, gloss and storage stability.
Printing Conditions:
Keep recommended temperature and humidity for stable ink transfer. Excessive shear or long circulation may affect the additive balance over time.
Storage Condition:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse at 5–35℃. Avoid direct sunlight and freezing. Stir gently before use if long stored.
Safety Operation:
Wear gloves and protective glasses during handling. Avoid ingestion and direct contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Foam and Pinholes During Ink Circulation High-speed circulation and pumping introduce air into the ink, causing foam, pinholes and surface defects on printed film. Solution: Confirm the package includes sufficient defoamer balance, add at recommended stage, and check pump speed and return pipe design.
Poor Pigment Dispersion and Color Strength Inadequate wetting and dispersing power in the additive package reduces color strength and causes streaking or low opacity. Solution: Ask R&D to re-balance the wetting and dispersing components; verify milling time and dispersing equipment efficiency.
Viscosity Drift During Long Circulation Additive balance may shift under continuous shear, causing viscosity rise or drop and unstable printing density. Solution: Have the package re-tuned for your circulation system; check temperature control and add stabilizer if needed.
Adhesion Failure on Film and Foil Wrong wetting or film-forming balance reduces bonding to smooth substrates, causing ink peeling in tape tests. Solution: Confirm substrate surface treatment (corona/coating), adjust adhesion-promoting components in the package.
Nozzle Clogging in Inkjet Systems Particles, drying residue or incompatible additives block nozzles and cause missed dots. Solution: Use PK-300 digital package, keep ink filtered, check humectant balance and environment humidity.
Uneven Gloss or Hazing After Drying Improper levelling or film-forming components cause uneven surface and reduced gloss. Solution: Adjust levelling and film-forming balance with R&D, verify drying temperature and airflow uniformity.
Storage Separation or Gelation of Ink Incompatibility between package components and resin appears over time as separation, settling or gel. Solution: Run storage stability test before mass production, confirm compatibility and adjust package ratio.
Batch-to-Batch Color or Print Variation Raw material change or inconsistent dosing causes visible difference between production batches. Solution: Use the same formulation code, follow dosing instructions strictly, and ask R&D for re-tuning when raw materials change.
