Product Introduction
Custom Compound Dry-mortar Integrated Additive Package is a tailor-made composite additive system, professionally developed by our technical team strictly according to customers’ formula targets, construction environment, local raw material conditions and performance standards.
This integrated package combines multiple functional additives in one premixed powder, including water retention agent, anti-slip modifier, redispersible polymer powder, retarder, defoamer, plasticizer and anti-crack components. It solves the complicated weighing and multi-ingredient mixing troubles for dry mortar manufacturers.
Our R&D team adjusts the proportion of each component flexibly. We can target different requirements: high anti-slip for large tile adhesive, long open time for exterior insulation mortar, smooth troweling for wall putty, low shrinkage for self-leveling and flexible performance for gypsum products. All formulas are tested in lab and pilot production before delivery.
By using this custom additive package, factories simplify purchasing, reduce mixing errors, stabilize batch consistency and cut formula debugging cost. We keep supporting customers with continuous technical follow-up and formula optimization when local sand, cement or climate conditions change.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION
ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
- Submit your complete performance requirements before ordering, including target mortar type, anti-slip value, water retention rate, open time, setting time, flexural strength and compressive strength. Our R&D team develops exclusive formula accordingly.
- Send raw material samples such as local cement, quartz sand and calcium carbonate for laboratory testing. Raw material difference is the key factor for stable customized additive package performance.
- Select packaging form: 25kg kraft bag with PE inner liner, plastic drum or 1000kg jumbo bag. Pallet wrapping is recommended for sea shipment to avoid moisture and package damage during long-distance transport.
- Confirm test plan: lab sample test, small batch pilot mixing and formal mass production. We provide 25kg trial package for customer verification before bulk order.
- Minimum bulk order quantity is 1 ton. Formula adjustment service is included for formal orders if test result cannot meet your expectation.
- Specify required documents: TDS, COA, MSDS, Certificate of Origin. We prepare all documents for customs clearance.
- Lead time: standard pre-developed formula 5–7 working days; fully new custom formula needs 14–22 working days for formulation, mixing and inspection.
- Notify special storage condition if your warehouse or construction area is high humidity, high temperature or cold climate. We adjust packaging protection scheme.
USAGE NOTES
- This integrated additive package is for dry premixing. Mix evenly with cement, sand and fillers in dry state, then add water at construction site. Do not dissolve it alone in hot water in advance.
- Water temperature for mortar mixing should be controlled below 55℃. Excessively hot water will destroy polymer components and change the designed setting time.
- Follow the recommended dosage confirmed in our test report. Overdosage may cause sticky texture, delayed hardening and lower final strength; insufficient dosage fails to reach target construction performance.
- Dry mixing sequence: add the additive package first, then blend with cement and aggregates. Longer mixing time is required because multiple trace additives are compounded inside.
- Once mortar is mixed with water, finish construction within the agreed open time. Recycled hardened slurry cannot restore original workability.
- Seal tightly after opening the package. Dampness will cause powder agglomeration, uneven dispersion and unstable batch performance.
- Do not mix this additive package with strong acidic raw materials. Acid environment will damage organic additives and lead to performance failure.
- When raw materials of your factory are replaced, inform our technical team in time. We will recheck and fine-tune the formula free of charge.

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
- Tile slips down on vertical surface: The anti-slip component proportion does not match your local cement. Notify us for formula upgrade. Meanwhile check whether mixing time and water addition amount are stable in your production line.
- Water retention rate is unstable batch by batch: The additive package is not fully dispersed. Since many trace components are compounded, single-point feeding without masterbatch pre-mixing will cause fluctuation of water retention effect.
- Mortar surface cracks after curing: Insufficient flexible polymer content, or open time too short leading to rapid water loss. Our team can increase flexible ingredients and adjust retarder system for your climate.
- Putty surface appears granular spots: Poor mixing uniformity or partial agglomeration of additive package caused by moisture. Check bag sealing condition and extend dry mixing time.
- Setting time changes obviously after raw material replacement: Different cement mineral composition reacts differently with retarder. Send new cement sample, we will recalibrate the whole additive formula.
- Self-leveling has pinholes and poor surface smoothness: Internal defoamer dosage mismatches your system. We adjust defoamer grade and content in the compound package.
- Adhesion strength fails standard after long storage of dry mortar: Organic components degrade slowly under high humidity storage. Improve warehouse humidity control or we add anti-ageing protective components in formula.
- Mortar is too sticky and difficult for troweling: Total organic additives are over-dosed. We reduce high-viscosity components and balance water retention and construction performance.
- Performance gap between lab test and mass production: Factory mixing efficiency is lower than laboratory mixer. We redesign masterbatch scheme to adapt your existing mixing equipment.
- Freeze-thaw test cannot pass: Lack of enough flexible polymer film. We increase high-quality polymer proportion inside the customized package to improve freeze-thaw resistance.
