PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Dry Strength Agent and Wet Strength Agent are high-performance papermaking auxiliaries designed to improve paper strength properties. Dry strength agent enhances tensile strength, burst strength and internal bonding, while wet strength agent provides resistance to water penetration and maintains strength under wet conditions.

These products are widely used in paper machines, pulp preparation, paper forming, board production, tissue paper production and specialty paper production. They provide dry strength improvement, wet strength improvement, good stability, easy use, non-hazardous property and good compatibility.

Our dry strength agent and wet strength agent are produced under strict process control. They are available in different grades according to pulp type, paper grade, strength requirement, pH range, machine speed and application system. Each batch is inspected for appearance, solid content, viscosity, charge density, molecular weight, dry strength performance and wet strength performance before shipment.

We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your papermaking system, machine condition and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Confirm Papermaking System and Strength Requirement Please inform us of your pulp type, paper grade, strength requirement, dry strength target, wet strength target, pH range, machine speed and production condition. We will recommend the most suitable dry strength agent and wet strength agent grade.
2. Trial Sample and Laboratory Evaluation We can provide trial samples for dry strength test, wet strength test, formation test and compatibility evaluation. Customers may test tensile strength, burst strength, wet strength, paper formation and machine runnability. Sample COA and SDS will be attached.
3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms Standard packing: 25kg bag / drum / carton, IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS.
4. Delivery and After-sales Technical Support Each batch is supplied with COA, TDS and SDS. Our technical team supports grade selection, dosage adjustment, process optimization and on-site guidance, and assists with import declaration information for destination ports.
Trial Order Tip:
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify dry strength agent and wet strength agent performance in your actual papermaking system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 0.2% to 1.5%. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to strength test and production condition.
Adding Point Control:
Add dry strength agent and wet strength agent at suitable point according to pulp type, paper grade and formulation requirement. Ensure good mixing and uniform distribution.
Compatibility Check:
Before mass production, test compatibility with pulp, other additives and machine condition. Observe dry strength, wet strength, paper formation and machine runnability.
Process Condition Consideration:
Adjust grade and dosage according to pulp type, paper grade, strength requirement, pH range, machine speed and production condition. Control adding point, dosage and mixing condition properly.
Storage & Sea Freight Guidance:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid freezing, direct sunlight and high temperature. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Safety Operation:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.

Formula Guidance:
Use DWA-100 for general systems, DWA-200 for high strength paper/board, DWA-300 for wet strength systems, DWA-400 for board, DWA-500 for tissue paper and DWA-600 for specialty paper. The dosage should be confirmed by strength test and production result.
COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Insufficient Dry Strength Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage, wrong pH or low pulp quality causes poor dry strength. Solution: Select suitable grade, increase dosage, control pH and improve pulp quality.
Insufficient Wet Strength Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage or wrong adding point causes poor wet strength. Solution: Use wet strength grade, increase dosage and optimize adding point.
Poor Paper Formation Unsuitable grade, excessive polymer or wrong formulation causes poor formation. Solution: Reduce polymer dosage, optimize formulation and select suitable grade.
System Buildup and Scaling Unsuitable grade, high polymer or wrong pH causes system buildup. Solution: Reduce polymer dosage, control pH and select compatible grade.
Poor Compatibility with Additives Wrong grade or incompatible additive causes precipitation or poor performance. Solution: Test compatibility before production and select matching grade.
Uneven Strength Distribution Poor mixing, uneven distribution or wrong adding point causes uneven strength. Solution: Improve mixing condition, optimize adding point and ensure uniform distribution.
Customs Detention Due to Mismatched Documents Incorrect HS code or SDS information triggers inspection and detention at destination ports. Solution: Confirm destination country regulations before order. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. We supply consistent full-set SDS / COA documents.
High COD Load in Wastewater High organic content or excessive dosage increases wastewater treatment load. Solution: Optimize dosage, use concentrated grade and cooperate with wastewater treatment.
