PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Formaldehyde-free Fixing Agent is a high-performance textile auxiliary designed to improve color fastness of dyed textiles without using formaldehyde-containing components. It helps fix dyes on fibers, reduce color bleeding and washing off, and improve wet rubbing fastness, washing fastness and perspiration fastness.

This product is widely used in reactive dyeing, direct dyeing, acid dyeing and garment dyeing processes. It offers good fixing effect, low yellowing, high stability and easy handling. It can be applied in combination with various dye systems and improves the overall quality and reproducibility of dyed textiles.

Our formaldehyde-free fixing agent is produced under strict process control. It is available in different grades according to dye type, fiber material, dyeing process and application requirement. Each batch is inspected for appearance, pH value, viscosity, active content, formaldehyde content and fixing performance before shipment.

We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your dye system, fiber material, production process and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Confirm Dye System and Fiber Material Please inform us of your dye type, fiber material, dyeing process, pH range, temperature and application requirement. We will recommend the most suitable formaldehyde-free fixing agent grade.
2. Trial Sample and Laboratory Evaluation We can provide trial samples for fixing test, fastness test and compatibility evaluation. Customers may test washing fastness, wet rubbing fastness, perspiration fastness, yellowing and compatibility with their dye system. Sample COA and SDS will be attached.
3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms Standard packing: 25kg drum / carton, IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS.
4. Delivery and After-sales Technical Support Each batch is supplied with COA, TDS and SDS. Our technical team supports grade selection, dosage adjustment, process optimization and on-site guidance, and assists with import declaration information for destination ports.
Trial Order Tip:
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify formaldehyde-free fixing agent performance in your actual dyeing system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 0.5% to 3.0% o.w.f. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to trial result and production condition.
Addition Method:
Add formaldehyde-free fixing agent after dyeing or in the final fixing bath. Ensure good circulation and uniform distribution in treatment bath.
Compatibility Check:
Before mass production, test compatibility with dyes, auxiliaries, pH value and temperature. Observe stability, yellowing and fastness result.
Process Condition Consideration:
Adjust grade and dosage according to dye type, fiber material, liquor ratio, temperature and treatment process. Control pH and circulation condition properly.
Storage & Sea Freight Guidance:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Safety Operation:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Low Fixing Effect Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage or wrong process causes poor fastness. Solution: Select suitable grade, increase dosage and optimize treatment process.
Color Bleeding and Washing Off Poor dye fixation, wrong pH or temperature causes color bleeding. Solution: Use appropriate fixing agent, adjust pH and temperature, and improve circulation.
Yellowing Problem Unsuitable grade, high temperature or wrong pH causes yellowing. Solution: Select low yellowing grade, reduce temperature and control pH properly.
Poor Compatibility with Dye System Wrong grade causes precipitation, instability or poor fixing result. Solution: Test compatibility before mass production and select matching grade.
Low Wet Rubbing Fastness Poor dye fixation, insufficient washing or unsuitable fixing agent causes defects. Solution: Improve washing process, use suitable fixing agent and optimize treatment condition.
Low Perspiration Fastness Unsuitable grade, wrong pH or poor dye fixation causes perspiration fastness issue. Solution: Select appropriate grade, adjust pH and optimize fixing process.
Customs Detention Due to Mismatched Documents Incorrect HS code or SDS information triggers inspection and detention at destination ports. Solution: Confirm destination country regulations before order. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. We supply consistent full-set SDS / COA documents.
High COD Load in Wastewater High active content or excessive dosage increases wastewater treatment load. Solution: Optimize dosage, use concentrated grade and cooperate with wastewater treatment.
