Our Light Stabilizer is a high-performance UV protection additive designed to protect polymers, coatings, paints, plastics and textile materials from sunlight, UV radiation and photo-oxidation. By absorbing harmful UV light and quenching free radicals, the Light Stabilizer prevents yellowing, chalking, cracking, gloss loss and mechanical degradation of finished products exposed to outdoor environments.
There are two main types of Light Stabilizer: UV absorbers, which absorb harmful ultraviolet rays before they damage the material, and hindered amine light stabilizers (HALS), which scavenge free radicals and interrupt the photo-oxidation chain reaction. Depending on the substrate and end-use, we supply powder, granular or liquid Light Stabilizer grades to meet different processing and formulation requirements.
The Light Stabilizer shows excellent compatibility with most polymer systems, coating resins, pigments and other additives. Within the recommended dosage, it maintains color stability, transparency and mechanical properties without causing bloom, haze or interference with processing. It is widely used in automotive parts, outdoor furniture, building materials, coil coatings, wood coatings, plastic films, fibers and agricultural films.
Every Light Stabilizer batch is tested for UV absorption efficiency, solubility, melting point, color, dispersion and thermal stability before delivery. COA, TDS and MSDS are provided for quality traceability and export compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable Light Stabilizer grade and dosage according to your substrate, exposure condition and performance target.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify the Light Stabilizer performance in your actual production process before bulk ordering.
The recommended dosage of the Light Stabilizer is 0.1–2.0%, depending on substrate and exposure condition. Start from the lower limit and increase gradually after performance testing.
Add the Light Stabilizer during the early compounding or dispersion stage to ensure uniform distribution. Liquid grades can be pre-blended with the carrier resin or solvent.
Before mass production, test the Light Stabilizer with other additives such as antioxidants, pigments, fillers and processing aids. Observe color, transparency and dispersion changes.
Select the Light Stabilizer grade according to the outdoor exposure intensity, film thickness and required service life. High-intensity UV areas may require higher dosage or HALS combination.
Keep the Light Stabilizer sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse at 5–35℃. Avoid direct sunlight, moisture and extreme temperature.
Wear gloves and protective glasses during handling. Avoid ingestion and direct contact with eyes. In case of contact, rinse thoroughly with clean water and seek medical advice if irritation persists.
