Modified Mica Powder is a high-performance functional mineral filler produced from high-quality mica ore through fine grinding, classification and surface modification treatment. The surface treatment improves compatibility with resins, polymers, coatings and cosmetic matrices, making it more dispersible and stable than ordinary mica powder.
This product features good pearlescent effect, high aspect ratio, excellent thermal stability, good electrical insulation and strong covering power. It can be used as functional filler or effect pigment to improve stiffness, dimensional stability, surface smoothness, insulation and decorative appearance of composite materials.
Our modified mica powder is produced under strict particle size control and surface coating management. It is available in different grades according to particle size, aspect ratio, whiteness, pearlescent effect, surface treatment agent and application requirement. Each batch is inspected for particle size, aspect ratio, whiteness, oil absorption, pH value and dispersion performance before shipment.
We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your material system, production process and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify modified mica powder performance in your actual production system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 5% to 40%. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to formulation test and production result.
Add modified mica powder gradually into the matrix under stirring, extrusion or grinding. Control dispersion time and shear intensity to avoid particle agglomeration and sheet breakage.
Before mass production, test compatibility with resins, polymers, pigments, additives and other fillers. Observe viscosity change, dispersion stability and final product appearance.
Adjust grade and dosage according to particle size distribution, processing temperature, moisture and final product specification. Fine grades usually require more careful dispersion.
Keep sealed in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse. Avoid moisture, rain and direct sunlight. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Wear dust mask, gloves and goggles during handling. Avoid inhaling dust. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.
