Precipitated Barium Sulfate is a high-purity functional mineral filler produced from high-quality barite ore through grinding, reaction synthesis, filtration, drying and classification. Compared with natural barite powder, it offers better whiteness, lower oil absorption, narrower particle size distribution and more stable chemical properties.
This product is widely used in coatings, paints, powder coatings, marine coatings, plastics, rubber and composite materials. In coating systems, it improves hiding power, surface smoothness, weather resistance and corrosion resistance, and reduces formulation cost. In plastics and rubber, it enhances stiffness, dimensional stability, impact resistance and wear resistance. It is also applied in non-ferrous metal mineral processing as weighting agent and functional additive.
Our precipitated barium sulfate is produced under strict process control. It is available in different grades according to particle size, whiteness, oil absorption, brightness and application requirement. Each batch is inspected for BaSO₄ content, whiteness, oil absorption, particle size, moisture and dispersion performance before shipment.
We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your material system, production process and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify precipitated barium sulfate performance in your actual production system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 10% to 40%. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to formulation test and production result.
Add precipitated barium sulfate gradually into the matrix under stirring, extrusion or grinding. Control dispersion time and shear intensity to avoid particle agglomeration.
Before mass production, test compatibility with resins, polymers, pigments, additives and other fillers. Observe viscosity change, dispersion stability and final product performance.
Adjust grade and dosage according to particle size distribution, processing temperature, moisture and final product specification. Fine grades usually require more careful dispersion.
Keep sealed in a dry, cool and ventilated warehouse. Avoid moisture, rain and direct sunlight. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Wear dust mask, gloves and goggles during handling. Avoid inhaling dust. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.
