PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

VAE Emulsion is a high-performance vinyl acetate-ethylene copolymer emulsion widely used in coatings, adhesives, construction materials, textile coatings, paper coatings and modifiers. It provides good film-forming property, high bonding strength, excellent flexibility, weatherability and compatibility with various additives.

This product is produced through controlled polymerization of vinyl acetate and ethylene under strict process conditions. It is available in different grades according to glass transition temperature, particle size, solid content, viscosity and application requirement. Each grade is designed to meet specific performance targets such as adhesion, flexibility, water resistance, durability and processability.

Our VAE emulsion is produced under strict quality control. It can be used as a binder in architectural coatings, as an adhesive in wood bonding and tile bonding, as a modifier in cement and mortar, and as a functional component in textile and paper coatings. Each batch is inspected for appearance, solid content, viscosity, pH value, particle size, film-forming property and stability before shipment.

We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and formulation according to your application system, processing condition and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms Standard packing: 25kg drum / carton, IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS.
4. Delivery and After-sales Technical Support Each batch is supplied with COA, TDS and SDS. Our technical team supports grade selection, formulation adjustment, process optimization and on-site guidance, and assists with import declaration information for destination ports.
Trial Order Tip:
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify VAE emulsion performance in your actual application system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 3% to 30%. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to formulation test and production condition.
Application Method:
Apply VAE emulsion by coating, spraying, dipping, roller coating or adhesive bonding according to grade and application requirement. Ensure uniform distribution on substrate surface.
Compatibility Check:
Before mass production, test compatibility with pigments, fillers, additives, solvents and processing condition. Observe stability, film formation and final product performance.
Process Condition Consideration:
Adjust grade and dosage according to substrate material, application method, drying condition, temperature and humidity. Control formulation uniformity and drying schedule properly.
Storage & Sea Freight Guidance:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid freezing, direct sunlight and high temperature. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Safety Operation:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.

COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Poor Film Formation Unsuitable Tg, insufficient dosage or wrong drying condition causes poor film formation. Solution: Select suitable Tg grade, increase dosage and optimize drying condition.
Low Bonding Strength Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage or poor surface preparation causes low bonding strength. Solution: Use high bonding grade, increase dosage and improve substrate surface preparation.
Poor Stability in Formulation Wrong grade, incompatible additive or high shear causes instability. Solution: Test compatibility before production, select stable grade and reduce shear.
Water Resistance Issue Unsuitable grade, excessive hydrophilic additive or wrong curing condition reduces water resistance. Solution: Select suitable grade, reduce hydrophilic additive and optimize curing condition.
Surface Tackiness Low Tg grade, high temperature or wrong formulation causes surface tackiness. Solution: Adjust Tg grade, reduce temperature and optimize formulation.
Poor Weatherability Unsuitable grade, UV exposure or wrong formulation reduces durability. Solution: Select weatherable grade, add UV stabilizer and optimize formulation.
Customs Detention Due to Mismatched Documents Incorrect HS code or SDS information triggers inspection and detention at destination ports. Solution: Confirm destination country regulations before order. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. We supply consistent full-set SDS / COA documents.
High COD Load in Wastewater High active content or excessive dosage increases wastewater treatment load. Solution: Optimize dosage, use concentrated grade and cooperate with wastewater treatment.
