PRODUCT INTRODUCTION

Wetting Penetrant is a high-performance textile auxiliary designed to improve wetting speed and penetration ability of treatment liquids on fibers and fabrics. It reduces surface tension, promotes rapid wetting, and helps dyes, auxiliaries and finishing agents penetrate evenly into fiber bundles and textile structures.

This product is widely used in pretreatment, dyeing, printing and finishing processes. It offers fast wetting, excellent penetration, low foam, high stability and easy handling. It can improve processing efficiency, reduce processing time and enhance the uniformity of dyeing and finishing results.

Our wetting penetrant is produced under strict process control. It is available in different grades according to fiber material, treatment process, pH range and application requirement. Each batch is inspected for appearance, pH value, viscosity, surface tension, foaming property and wetting performance before shipment.

We provide complete export documents including COA, TDS and SDS for quality traceability and customs compliance. Our technical team can recommend the most suitable grade and dosage according to your process system, fiber material, production condition and destination country regulations.

POINTS FOR ATTENTION

ORDER INSTRUCTIONS
1. Confirm Process System and Fiber Material Please inform us of your treatment process, fiber material, pH range, temperature, liquor ratio and application requirement. We will recommend the most suitable wetting penetrant grade.
2. Trial Sample and Laboratory Evaluation We can provide trial samples for wetting test, penetration test and compatibility evaluation. Customers may test wetting speed, penetration time, surface tension, foaming property and compatibility with their process system. Sample COA and SDS will be attached.
3. Confirm Packaging, Quantity and Export Terms Standard packing: 25kg drum / carton, IBC tank. Custom shipping marks and pallet reinforcement available. Quotation under FOB / CIF / DDP is acceptable. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. Required customs documents: commercial invoice, packing list, bill of lading, certificate of origin, COA and SDS.
4. Delivery and After-sales Technical Support Each batch is supplied with COA, TDS and SDS. Our technical team supports grade selection, dosage adjustment, process optimization and on-site guidance, and assists with import declaration information for destination ports.
Trial Order Tip:
For new customers, we recommend a small trial batch first to verify wetting penetrant performance in your actual process system and pre-review export documents before bulk order.
USAGE NOTES
Dosage Control:
The recommended dosage varies by application, typically from 0.3% to 2.0% o.w.f. Start from lower dosage and adjust according to trial result and production condition.
Addition Method:
Add wetting penetrant at the beginning of treatment process or before dye and auxiliary addition. Ensure good circulation and uniform distribution in treatment bath.
Compatibility Check:
Before mass production, test compatibility with dyes, auxiliaries, pH value and temperature. Observe stability, foaming and treatment result.
Process Condition Consideration:
Adjust grade and dosage according to fiber material, treatment process, liquor ratio, temperature and pH range. Control circulation and agitation condition properly.
Storage & Sea Freight Guidance:
Keep sealed in a cool, dry and ventilated warehouse. Avoid direct sunlight and high temperature. It is non-dangerous goods for shipping.
Safety Operation:
Wear protective gloves, goggles and protective clothing during handling. Avoid contact with skin and eyes. If splashed into eyes, rinse with plenty of clean water immediately.

Formula Guidance:
Use WP-100 for general wetting, WP-200 for pretreatment, WP-300 for dyeing, WP-400 for printing, WP-500 for low foam continuous processes and WP-600 for high temperature processes. The dosage should be confirmed by trial test and production result.
COMMON PROBLEMS IN DOWNSTREAM PRODUCTION
Slow Wetting and Poor Penetration Unsuitable grade, insufficient dosage or poor circulation causes slow wetting. Solution: Select suitable grade, increase dosage and improve circulation condition.
Uneven Dyeing and Barreling Poor penetration, wrong temperature or unsuitable wetting penetrant causes defects. Solution: Use appropriate grade, optimize heating rate and improve liquor circulation.
Foaming Problem High foam grade, improper dosage or strong agitation causes foam in treatment bath. Solution: Select low foam grade, reduce dosage and control agitation condition.
Poor Compatibility with Auxiliaries Wrong grade causes precipitation, instability or poor treatment result. Solution: Test compatibility before mass production and select matching grade.
Low Process Efficiency Slow wetting, poor penetration or unstable process increases processing time. Solution: Optimize grade and dosage, improve circulation and standardize process parameters.
Low Reproducibility Between Batches Unstable process, inconsistent pH or temperature causes batch difference. Solution: Standardize process parameters, control pH and temperature, and use stable grade.
Customs Detention Due to Mismatched Documents Incorrect HS code or SDS information triggers inspection and detention at destination ports. Solution: Confirm destination country regulations before order. Standard export data: HS Code 3824.9999, non-hazardous. We supply consistent full-set SDS / COA documents.
High COD Load in Wastewater High active content or excessive dosage increases wastewater treatment load. Solution: Optimize dosage, use concentrated grade and cooperate with wastewater treatment.
